A 5.5 GHz version of the Trinity Lightning is now available! And, meet the new FireHawk product line...
Shown above: The FireHawk Mach V
The new FireHawk model features the Intel i7-990X chip overclocked to 5.5 GHz on all 6 cores,
12 GB of RAM, a 120 GB SSD used as a fast Windows 7 64-bit boot drive as well as a 2 TB Caviar Green
hard drive. Two separate burners (CD/DVD and Blu-ray) are standard, with the incredibly fast GTX 580 video card.
All of that amazing hardware is blended together with an eye-catching case design, making it an excellent
choice for data centers and high-tech gamers alike.
The Trinity Lightning III incorporates the new i7-990X into the Vapor Phase Change cooling environment, and when it hits that -40° (Celsius and Fahrenheit) mark, the clock speed can be cranked to 5.5 GHz even for 24x7 use.
How fast is 5.5 GHz? Consider this fact: A beam of light traveling at 186,282 miles per second will only move 2 and 1/7th inches by the time the clock ticks one time inside the Trinity Lightning III! Now that is what you call fast!
| FireHawk Mach V = $7750 | Trinity Lightning III = $8000 |
